Frequently Asked Questions in no particular order.
How long does the job take? That depends on what we're doing, for example: Are we doing a light maintenance cleaning or a heavy duty cleaning because the carpets haven't been cleaned in several years? Also how much furniture and stuff do we have to move because the homeowner didn't? Typically anywhere from 2 to 5 hours (average is 3)
Preparation is the key to a successful cleaning experience. Refer to the section "Preparing your home for carpet & furniture cleaning" The time frame for a 3-4 bedroom with hallway and stairs is anywhere from 2 hours for maintenance cleaning to about 3 to 4 hours depending upon size of area, level of soiling and other conditions present at time of cleaning. I perform full blown professional cleaning, not fast skim cleaning.
How long does the carpet take to dry? Typical drying time can be from 2 to 6 hours, depending upon several factors, type of carpet, Loop pile or plush, level of soiling, length and density of the pile, . Temperature, Ventilation and Airflow, the warmer it is the faster drying time, the more air moving across the floor the better. We can leave a blower to accelerate the drying process if needed.
Do I have to be there while you work? Not necessarily. Some of our new customers and nearly all my repeat customers leave me in the house all the time while they run errands because they know they can with complete confidence and trust. We do not enter rooms where we are not working (if we don't have to)
What methods of payment do you take? We accept checks, cash or a combination of both.
Chase Quick pay or any of the other following methods, Gold, Silver, camping, sporting goods, watercraft, fishing stuff and militaria, subject to disscussion and agreement prior to performance of the job.
Cash, checks and Chase quick pay are still the primary methods of payment.
